Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover Review

I always get a headache when using regular nail polish remover. Even if someone else is using it several locked doors away from me its like my super sense of smell can sniff it out and BAM my head is splitting. Because of this, more often than not I would end up picking my nail polish off, which as you can imagine, didn’t leave my nails in the best condition.

I picked up the Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover after hearing a lot of hype about it and the fact that it was described as having a ‘red fruits & vanilla fragrance’ definitely drew me in. The tub is lightweight and features a black sponge soaked in product with a hole in the centre which u can dip and twist your finger in to remove the product. I like the fact that the sponge is black so you can’t see your old nail polish colours smeared all over the sponge. The product doesn’t quite live up to its ‘1 second’ removal claims, but it is a quick enough process. There is still a slight ‘nail polish remover’ smell, but it is masked by the vanilla fragrance, and because the whole process is so quick, I didn’t have time to let a headache develop! It does also leave a slight residue on the nail so bear this in mind if you like to reapply polish directly after removing an old one.

Overall I was pretty impressed by this, but at €6.99 its not cheap, so I may try hunt out some more budget alternatives. If anyone knows of any please let me know in the comments below!
