Benefit Cosmetics Girl Meets Pearl Review

I have a very strong love for Benefit Cosmetics. When I started out using makeup, they were one of the first high-end brands that I indulged in, and over the years I’ve sampled a lot of pieces from their collection. Highlighters are a particular favourite of mine, so I had to try out Girl Meets Pearl.

I won’t lie, the first thing that drew me in was the pretty packaging. Benefit always knock em out of the park when it comes to packaging and product names. I love the metallic pink packaging with the purple and pink motif, it looks so cute displayed on my dressing table. As someone who owns a lot of highlighters, I liked how this was a liquid formula rather than the usual powder versions you see everywhere. To apply you just twist the bottom of the tube and the product dispenses through the little holesΒ at the top. I just smooth it on top of my cheekbones using my fingers and gently pat it onto skin. It leaves a beautiful subtle soft pink glow, which looks naturally gorgeous. I’d advise you to apply after foundation, but before using any powder or blush for the best finish. You can also mix this in with your foundation for a gorgeous natural, radiant glow.

If you’re in the market for something different, I’d recommend you head to a Benefit counter and check this out. Yes, like all their products, it ain’t cheap at €35 for a weeny 12ml of product (gulp!) but I’ve had it a long time and it’s still going strong, you only need to dab a teeny amount on the cheeks at a time.

Have you guys tried Girl Meets Pearl? What Benefit products do you think I should try next? Let me know in the comments below!
