Here we go again with yet another Empties post. I get through a hell of a lot of products each month, so I like to do these little posts to highlight the products that I actually do use up, and my thoughts on them.
Pure Deep Cleanse Face Wipes
My auntie popped these in my Christmas stocking, I think she picked them up in Dealz. They were pretty heavily scented, a kind of medicinal mixed with witch hazel kind of scent. They left my skin feeling a tad dry too.
Johnsons Face Care Clear Skin Wipes
These weren’t bad. Nicely scented a felt good on the skin. They didn’t dry out my skin either which is a bonus. I know face wipes are evil, but if I have to choose, I’ll stick with the No7 version.
Repurchase? Maybe, if on special offer.
Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo (2)
I adored the scent of this shampoo, it smelled amazing, down to the orange extracts in the formula. Its SLS free so it didn’t lather up like other shampoos, and it left the hair squeaky clean. It’s really good for sensitive skin types. The only downside was that I needed to use a fairly intensive conditioner with it as it left my hair a bit more tangled than usual. A little pricey at €12.50 a tube, but worth it.
Clarisonic Deep Pore Brush Head
I find this type of brush head the best for my combination skin type. It feels gentle on the skin and keeps my face relatively blemish free. I’ve spoken further about it in my skin care routine post here.
Carino Professional Miracle Oil
I picked this up in Aldi for around €4. It’s an argan oil for use in the hair. I used it on my bleached ends (I have ombré hair so my hair is brunette but blonde at the tips) and I really found it helped keep them nourished and less dry and tangly. You only need a drop, so this little bottle lasted months!
Soap and Glory Wash Your Hands Of It Handwash
I love this handwash, it smells amazing and leaves my hands feeling so soft and smooth. It works well with the Soap and Glory Hand Food hand cream, the scents compliment each other well. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it.
Radox Spa Condition Bath Soak (2)
Radox is a fail safe option for me as a bath soak. They always smell beautiful and relaxing, create lots of bubbles and are kind to skin. Plus, they’re cheap as chips.
Carex Strawberry Laces Handwash
I declared my love for this handwash in a blog post here. It smells great, is kind to skin, and is really affordable!
Repurchase? Have several in my stockpile already!
So that’s it for now, stay tuned cos there will be plenty more posts containing my rubbish in the near future 🙂
