Soap & Glory ‘The Righteous Butter’ Review

Here we go again, more Soap & Glory on the blog. It’s quite obvious that this quirky affordable brand is a massive favourite of mine, so I’m pretty sure you guys know how this review is going to pan out….

Now, I won’t lie, I was never one for body moisturising. I never really saw the point in faffing about post shower, slathering cold cream all over your body then standing around waiting for it to dry before getting dressed. Then I discovered this bad boy, and I fell in love. It was the scent that drew me in first. The ‘Original Pink’ Soap and Glory fragrance, which is the same as Clean On Me and Scrub Of Your Life amongst others, is a gorgeous light scent that lingers on the skin for the entire day after I apply it. The thick white cream glides on to skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It sinks in pretty quick and absorbs well, and works best in winter when my skin feels particularly dry and tight. Other body creams that I’ve tried have felt greasy and heavy on the skin, but this one feels light, and is non sticky. I like to pair this with the Clean On Me shower gel to match the scent, it leaves my bathroom smelling like a gorgeous Soap & Glory spa which is great. This costs €14.69 from Boots, which is great value, as you only need to dab small amount on at a time, so this large tub will last you for months. If you fancy an affordable yet indulgent feeling body treat, head down to the Soap & Glory aisle on your next visit to Boots- but you have been warned, you will get sucked in by the 3 for 2 offer and you will buy lots and lots! Good luck πŸ™‚
