If you know me, you’ll know that I am a massive Disney fan. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved everything about Disney, the movies, the theme parks, the characters. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Disneyland California, Walt Disney World in Florida and had numerous trips to Disneyland Paris. I love nothing more than reading blog posts and trivia about Disney, or sitting on the couch wrapped in a blankie watching hours of animated classics.
If you, or anyone in your family sounds like me, then you need to know about the Disney Movie Rewards programme! Its a really simple system, that is free to join and is 100% legitimate. I’m going to be talking about the UK & Ireland Rewards website, but I know they also do this programme in the USA, so have a quick google to see if it is offered in your country.
‘So how do I get my hands on a free movie?’ I hear you ask. Basically you create an account on the Disney Movie Rewards site (click here) and then go from there. If you have any Disney movies on DVD at home, go open the box and have a look at the little leaflet inside. Once you have your code, you head on over to the website, and pop in your magic code to the system (they may often ask for the barcode on the back of the box too, for verification). For each DVD code you enter, you will earn 100 points.
But its not only about DVDs, it also applies to Blu Ray, so if you have a magic code from a Blu Ray disc, you’ll earn 150 points. If you own any Disney CD’s or Video Games, you can also find magic codes in those too!
Once you find yourself accumulating some points, you can start claiming rewards! There are tons of free rewards that you can claim without any points, mostly printable worksheets and posters, which are great for young kids as a rainy day activity! There are also stickers and other bits and bobs ranging from 5 to 25 points, but my favourite options are of course the movies! DVD rewards range from 500 to 700 points. There are some amazing titles for 500 points, such as Toy Story, Aladdin, Dumbo, Cinderella and tons more classics! The Blu Ray rewards begin at 550 points and go all the way up to 4500 points (for a massive box of 13 movies!) so there are lots of options to choose from.
Once you pick your rewards, you enter your details and delivery address, and the item will be shipped to you for free! They always come pretty quick too, and the best thing is, open your newly rewarded DVD, and yup, there’s a code to be used for more rewards right inside the cover!!
Basically, if you have 5 Disney DVDs hanging around at home, which each have a 100 point magic code, it means you’re automatically entitled to another free DVD of your choice! If you’re someone like me, with around 50 titles, then you’ll be able to claim lots of free rewards!
I really don’t think enough people know about this amazing system. If you’re an avid collector of Disney movies, or you have young children who own many DVDs, this is something you need to get involved with. I mean, its all free and such an easy system to use, you’d really be mad not to check it out!
As you can see, I have a pretty crazy Disney movie collection, and I’ll definitely continue to add to it! Whats your favourite Disney movie? Do you use the Disney Movie Rewards system? Let me know in the comments below!
