L.A. Girl Pro Conceal Review

I’ve always had massive dark circles under my eyes. Even when I look back now to photos of when I was a child or a young teen, I have massive black rings under my eyes. Seriously, I look sleep deprived and rather creepy. God knows why I was gifted such terrible under eye bags, but for as long as I’ve been wearing makeup, I’ve been on the hunt for the concealer to work its magic at covering them up.

Well, now I’ve found it.

Seriously, I must have tried every concealer on the market. High end, drugstore, everything in between. Well now, I need look no more. I stumbled across the L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer, innocently enough, while on holiday in New York earlier this year. We were in Ricky’s, a fabulous beauty supply store, when my sister pointed it out to me “Oh look, there’s that concealer the YouTubers are always raving about” she said. It looked vaguely familiar to me, and upon asking the cashier the price, and learning it was cheap as chips (about $5ish if I remember correctly) I decided to go for it, and blindly chose the shade Classic Ivory, hoping for the best.

It was weeks later that I finally gave it a whirl, and I haven’t looked back since. It comes in a squeezy tube with a built-in brush applicator (I know that grosses some people out, but I’m ok with it). Application is fairly straight forward, squeeze the product out through the applicator and apply to skin. I tend to only use this under my eyes, as it gives a beautiful highlight effect, while also masking the horrible dark circles that lie beneath. It isn’t a heavy concealer that will mask the skin or cover massive imperfections, it’s a light to medium consistency, that blends into skin well and leaves it looking natural and radiant.

Once on the skin I blend it with my preferred choice on the day, usually the Beauty Blender or my Real Techniques setting brush, then apply a light dusting of loose powder over top, and I’m ready to go. My favourite thing about this concealer is that it doesn’t crease on me! Seriously, at the end of the day, it looks as good as when first applied, and no lines or creases are evident at all. That is a rare occurrence for me, as my concealerΒ always creases, so I’m really thrilled with that.

The only drawback? Sadly, it’s not readily available in Ireland. I’m lucky that my sister gave me her tube after she didn’t get on too well with it, so I have a back up for when this one runs out, but then, I’m at a loss as to where to buy some more? I’ll need to do a quick Google search to find the best online sellers, so if you know of any, please do let me know.

So that’s it, another rave review here on Just My Look. Have you tried this concealer? What other concealers do you guys like? As always, let me know in the comments below!

I’m so conflicted about this concealer, I’ve seen such mixed reviews on this and the only place I can purchase it is on morphe brushes and its sooo expensive , would love it if you checked out my blog

Yeah I was amazed when my sister didn’t like it as I LOVE it, but since then I’ve seen so many mixed reviews. It’s a pity it’s so expensive to order online when it was so cheap for me to pick up in the States πŸ˜”

I can’t use concealer as my mum doesn’t let me use anything that will effect my spots so I’ve learnt that if you get a light pink colour eyeshadow it does the job, when I can wear concealer I will definitely get that!
