I love to shop. My bank account does not love my love of shopping. Lets not think about that though shall we…You may have seen my recent Penneys/Primark Haul, and while I was out on that shopping trip, I also picked up a few more items. Lets take a look shall we?
First up, was this coat from Mango. I’ve been looking for a new coat for quite some time now. I have casual jackets and coats for day-to-day wear, but I wanted something a bit more dressy for evening wear or more dressy days. I had my heart set on a camel coat, but when I couldn’t find one, my mam pointed me in the direction of this beauty, and it was love at first sight. It’s a beige/biscuit wool coat, that comes just above my knee when on. It fastens with one button in the front, and has a relaxed loose fit, which will be great over all my chunky knits and layers in the winter time. I can’t wait to wear it, paired with a nice scarf. This was €79.95 from Mango.
Next up, I found this jumpsuit from Miss Selfridge. Well, when I say I found it, I saw a girl wearing it at a party, asked her where she got it, and went out and bought it the next day. She was a complete stranger, yet I marched up and asked her where she bought her clothes… hmm, not weird at all?
Anyway, I fell in love with the lace design on this jumpsuit, its classy and sleek, the legs are skinny fit, and it’s really comfy to wear. I plan on pairing it with minimal accessories and black heels with a sparkly clutch to wear out over the festive season. I think it’s really classy and timeless, I can’t wait to wear it out! It was €74 from Miss Selfridge.
Next, I popped into Topshop, and while scanning the sale rail, I found this cute top. I love the green, navy & pink stripes, and the wide navy panel on the back. Its pretty summery, but I wore it out with a navy cardigan and jeans the other day, and I thought it looked pretty good! This was only €15, which I thought was a great bargain!
On to the beauty, Boots was doing a 3 for 2 offer across all makeup, and I needed a new Stay Matte powder, so I headed straight for the Rimmel stand. While picking up the powder, I also chose the Lasting Finish Concealer, in the shade 002, as I’ve seen a lot of good reviews online, so I can’t wait to try it out. Then, I chose the Oh My Gloss in the shade ‘Snog’ which is a gorgeous ‘your lips but better’ shade, and on first impression, it feels so smooth and nourishing on the lips. I can’t wait to try both this and the concealer out properly, and I’ll be sure to report back when I do.
Next, I needed a new hairdryer, as mine went bust a few days beforehand. I had a voucher for my local shopping centre from my birthday, so I thought I’d use it in Boots on a replacement hairdryer. When I went into Boots this Nicky Clare Frizz Control Hairdryer was on a half price offer for €15.99, and had decent reviews online, so I popped it in my basket and hoped for the best! I’ve only tried it once, and although it’s not the most powerful hairdryer, its pretty decent for the price, although I can’t testify if the frizz control claims are true. Not a bad buy at all!
Finally, whilst in Boots I spotted this great deal, the Real Techniques Bold Metals Essentials set was on half price offer from €85, to €39.99. I basically squealed with delight and grabbed them with both hands. I’d heard mixed reviews of the Bold Metals range, but I just always thought they are such pretty brushes, but they’re a tad pricey for a high street brand. This was a really good deal, as you get a powder, blush and eyeshadow brush along with a pretty little clutch bag. I’ve only used the brushes once, so I’ll wait before I do a full review, but first impressions are pretty good! You can find the set here.
So there you have it, another installment in my never-ending Haul series! Keep your eye on the blog, as in a couple of days I’ll have another mini haul post, full of random bits and pieces from Penneys (Primark), Tiger & Disney!
