I love Penneys, alot. Like alot alot. Its my favourite store by a mile, seriously, where else would you get a pair of boots, a jacket, photo frame, candle holder, mugs and a bag for €65? I love its huge range of affordable on trend items! Lets take a look at what bits and bobs I picked up shall we?
Penneys is the Irish name for Primark, so many of these products may be available in Primark stores in the UK 🙂
Firstly, I’ve been wanting to pick up a fur gilet for ages, but I didn’t wanna splash out big bucks on one from TopShop or somewhere, so when I spotted this beauty in Penneys, I grabbed it with both hands! Its a gorgeous cream coloured gilet with flecks of grey throughout it, and I think it will look really nice with skinny jeans and maybe a black polo neck underneath? I haven’t bought any tops to go under it yet, so any suggestions are welcome! This was €25, which I think is great value.
Next, I picked up these boots as I thought they’d look good with the fur gilet! These are beige suede-style boots, with a cute little tassle effect and small heel. I have been dying to get some nice boots, but couldn’t seem to find any nice ones anywhere, so I was thrilled to come across these for only €21! They also had them in black too. I’ve worn them once so far, and they’re pretty comfy, which is a bonus!
Next, I was on the lookout for a nice bag to wear with the black jumpsuit that I recently picked up in Miss Selfridge. I thought this black embellished clutch bag would be perfect to go with it, and I cant wait to wear it for my Christmas party! Its a decent sized bag that should fit a lot of my essentials in it, and it has a zip opening and a little handle on it. I love all the pink and silver beading on it, I think its just so pretty!! It cost €10.
Now, like most Irish people, I am obsessed with tea. So when I saw this cute mug; I had to add it to my already heaving collection. I just love the white, gold and black design on it, and its a pretty big size, so its perfect for a nice cuppa, or a hot chocolate filled to the brim with marshmallows! This was only €2, and came in a nice little box, so it would make a lovely gift.
Sticking with the tea obsession, and beginning with the copper segment of the haul, I could not pass by this gorgeous copper travel mug! Its just so pretty, and perfect for my hot drinks in the morning when I’m stuck in traffic on the way to work. This was another complete bargain at €4.50!
Sticking with copper, I picked up this gorgeous photo frame, which reminded me so much of some Oliver Bonas frames that I spotted online recently. Its so pretty for slotting a nice picture in and hanging it on your wall, I can’t wait to pop it up in my house, to match in with all my other copper belongings! I have a pretty big obsession with copper at the moment, along with the rest of the blogging world! This was €4.
Finally, these gorgeous little candle holders were in the bargain bin, so I had to pick up 3 of them! They’re a lovely copper miniature cage style design, each of which hold a tealight inside of them. They are currently around my fireplace, and I think they are so cute, and would look nice anywhere in the house. They were reduced from €2.50 to €1 each, bargain or what?
So that’s the lot, a nice mix and match of items from Penneys! Have you visited Penneys or Primark recently? Let me know what you picked up in the comments below!
