Who can believe February is actually over and we’re now embarking into the third month of 2016? I’m looking forward to spring, brighter days and hopefully some slightly warmer weather! Let’s take a look at some of my favourites from the month of February shall we?
I’ve been loving so much makeup this month! My base of choice this month has been the Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation. My skin has been really problematic this month, with tons of blemishes, so this foundation has been great for giving me the full coverage base that I need. It’s also super long lasting which is great. I’ve done a full review on it here. I’ve also been loving the Max Factor Creme Puff blush, in the shade Seductive Pink. I love this teeny little compact, its a really gorgeous soft and subtle blush powder, that applies so smoothly on the skin to leave a lovely natural highlighted cheek look. It’s perfect for everyday wear, I really need to get my hands on some more of the shades! My most used highlight this month has been the So Susan Statement Skin Highlighting Crayon in the shade ‘Candle Light’ which I got in my December Glossybox. I like to use this in daytime for a gorgeous natural highlight, it is so easy to apply as its in crayon form, I like to pop it on the browbones, down the centre of my nose and my cupids bow for a natural glow. It also works really well as a base for a powder highlight too. For bronzer, I’ve been loving the NYX Matte Bronzer in the shade ‘Medium’ which is a perfect natural look for my skin tone. I just pop it on my forehead, nose and chin and the hollows of my cheeks for a nice hint of a tan on my skin. The swatch below makes it look super orange, but it doesn’t translate like that on my skin, its just the perfect warm bronze shade for me! Finally, for eyes I’ve been loving the KIKO Long Lasting Shadow Stick in the shade ’05 Rosy Brown’ which is the most perfect metallic brown shade that is perfect for day or night wear, and its so easy to apply too, I just swish the crayon over my lid, and quickly blend it out with my fingers. Then I use the Glossybox Eyeshadow in Glossy Mauve over top to set it to make it last all day long. They are the perfect combo for a great shadow look!

Glossybox definitely deserves a mention this month too, as the February box was fantastic. I loved everything included in it, there was a great mix of makeup, haircare, and beauty tools. I’ve been enjoying using everything I received, here’s hoping the March box is as good! You can read my full review of the February edition here.
Finally, the only non beauty favourite worth mentioning is this fantastic song by Zayn Malik! When Zayn left One Direction I wasn’t too fussed, and with all the controversy in the media, I expected his solo efforts to be a bit rubbish, or at least not my style. So I was so pleasantly surprised when I heard this song for the first time. It’s such a great tune, I cannot stop singing it all the time! If you havent heard it yet, give the video a watch, I think you’ll really enjoy it.
So that’s my lot this month! What have you been loving in February? Let me know your favourites in the comments below!
